Day Off Monday
Me and April drove all over SD yesterday in search for some dresses for april for VEGAS in 2 weeks! We started out in PB to otay to areo drive and ended up at sushiya to visit our homies arturo and joe. Customers at sushiya keep getting arturo drunk while making sushi rolls and eventually almost got the boot. However, just recently he got a call for Harneys Sushi in old town and will be working down over there on Aug 4th and saying goodbye to his loyal fan club here in PQ.

Marksman Target Shooting
Came home this morning to my dad and his new toy, a pellet rifle. Just like back in the days with all our bb guns. However this gun is much heavier and more comparable to a real rifle. wait, how would i know what a real rifle feels like? anyways, my dad set up target up on our hill in the backyard. I can say i was prepared for this from my previous training in Call of Duty 4.
snipe. snipe.

can you see the RED TARGET? this is the distance where we shoot from.

The Dark Knight
After holding out the beginning of the weekend, we finally watched batman! We had bought tickets thurs for the IMAX showing in Mira Mesa at 1020pm. It was the only open showing since thurs-sun were all sold out in IMAX. Thanks to costco we got our tickets for $7.50 compared to the $13 or so IMAX tickets. Jr stood in line at 5pm for the 1020pm showing and was first in line. The movie was awesome and long. Now go watch it! (in IMAX)
All knight long.

Football Stats, Then and Now
I went back into time into my scrapbook and looked at my stats my first football game our senior year. It was my 3rd best game in my career. haha. The stats were on the saturday Union tribune newspaper and when i look back at it i find some big names that also fall into the same category as me.
- Kellen Winslow – Miami U tight-end / All-pro tight-end of the Cleveland Browns
- William Buchanon – 2000 all american, USC cornerback, and now receiver on the raiders
- Robert Ortiz – SDSU wideout, signed by the chargers and now on the seattle seahawks
yeah yeah, call me uncle rico, but im still living my football career in the past but who cares. I found myself to be on the top 25 list of the receivers out of 14 teams and 2 divisions on our sunday flag football league.

Bear In There
Bear In There by Shel Silverstein
There’s a Polar Bear
In our Frigidaire–
He likes it ’cause it’s cold in there.
With his seat in the meat
And his face in the fish
And his big hairy paws
In the buttery dish,
He’s nibbling the noodles,
He’s munching the rice,
He’s slurping the soda,
He’s licking the ice.
And he lets out a roar
If you open the door.
And it gives me a scare
To know he’s in there–
That Polary Bear
In our Fridgitydaire.
