Harneys O-Side
Went to harneys in oceanside last night with good ol friend tara! majestic and alsquared dj there wed nights. This place is very well designed and is larger than the one in old town. The only sucky things are the beer selection and the $15 fusion sake!!! but all in all, you cant go wrong with harneys and good company. =)
Carlsbad 5000 Marathon
I had to be in carlsbad for the 5am call time. i woke up at 3am and didnt go back to sleep so i wouldnt miss the call time. bright and early my duty was to get the medals ready. the first 250 of each race won a medal. it was pretty cool to be at the finish line but a lot of these runner stop right in front of us and start gagging. also when theres only 1 medal left people start playing tug-o-war it.
crossing the finish lines were 6 year olds running with their parents, dog with their masters, parents with their stroller. it must bring you down when you are running and for some reason cant pass the 10 year old that’s ahead of you.
the last two event were the “elites”. there are only like a handful that run this event. these are pretty much all olympic runners. they pretty much run a whole race as fast as you sprint. ethiopia won across the board.
afterwards, pizza port hooked it up with free pizzas and pitchers until we got full. without a meal all day, this is the most gratifying part of the day. cheers for getting paid for this. =)

Old Town x The Office x Studio Diner
Had friday dinner with some friends at cafe coyote in old town. Own Town felt like a cleaner TJ. But it was definitely crackin with tourist and it DID NOT feel like we were it san diego. Afterwards we went to The Office in north park to check out our home boy ron spin. Great new venue. It kinda like a updraded landlord jims / bar dynamite in one. Then afterwards of course the stomaches start talking and we went to studio diner in keanry mesa. i never even knew this place existed!
Mama Lina’s
Last friday, drove down the street to Mama Lina’s Ravioli Company to have some fresh home cooked meatball sandwiches. They even let me get a sneak peak of the factory. On the way to the my sneak peak i met mama lina! unfortunately she didnt want a picture. But the food was delicious!
Dawgs
During softball wednesday, our teammate brought their dog which was only half its size a couple of months ago. this breed is a sled dog and whoever took hold of the leash went for a ride.
E-Bar Sliders
The e-sliders at the Elephant Bar are really good, especially with sweet potato fries!
April Fools- Its a Wrap!
Our “New Media” department was pranked on this morning. All 8 of our desks were nicely and neatly wrapped in cyran wrap. Every little thing was wrapped, even my eye drops, my evil monito monkey, usb drive, post-its, etc. When i say nicely and neatly, everything wrapped was wrapped with love. haha. We are still trying to figure out who did it.

Basic Pizza Tuesday
Went to Basic downtown for some drinks and pizza. I love their pizza. afterwards we walked a couple blocks for some pinkberry yogurt. that makes it 3 times in a row. Also stopped by bumsville for the first time and i hope not the last.
Carlsbad 5k Walk Through
Tuesday we had a walk through in carlsbad for the Carlsbad 5000 marathon this weekend. We have to work the events and hold it down therefore we need to know where everything will be. It was nice to get out of the office and take a lil stroll. the weather walk amazing in carlsbad! the finish line will take place at pizza port in carlsbad.
Afterwards we dropped by the carlsbad outlets for lunch and ate at rubios where the first thing we saw was our Competitor magazine. I dont work on the print side of it but all web. It was pretty cool looking through the mag and seeing all the logos i deal with everyday.
ps. the carlsbad flower fields are at full bloom.
