Todays Forecast: 100% BlackBerry STORM

Today has been a good day. I pulled an all nighter thursday night to work on a little call of duty and working on buster davis’ website. Met up with kimtan at the break of dawn at verizon to pick up our new blackberry storm that released today at 7am. We got in line at 545 and found a nice spot 20 peeps down the line. We were at the end of the first wave of customers.

It was funny because the manager came out with the demo version and the dude he handed it to already dropped the freaken phone!

Blackberry Storm!!!

Today is gonna be a good day.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band, New Orleans

On saturday I went with april to a concert for her class. The concert was the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from the New Orleans. I really enjoyed the new orleans flavor music, especially after Katrina took away almost everything from all the members. In the program i read that the pianist lost his 9 foot grand piano and a handful of the members lost instruments that were either passed down or vintage. When New Orleans is fully reconstructed in a couple of years, i wanna visit. you down?

Walt Disney’s Club 33

I just found out about the exclusive Club 33 at disneyland, through Ben Ballers latest blog. It pretty crazy what its worth to be a member…

Club 33 is a private club located in the heart of the New Orleans Square section of Disneyland. Officially maintained as a secret feature of the theme park, the entrance of the club is located next to the Blue Bayou Restaurant at “33 Royal Street” with the entrance recognizable by an ornate address plate with the number 33 engraved on it. When riding Pirates of the Caribbean, just as the ride departs, the Blue Bayou restaurant is visible, but the balconies above it are actually a part of Club 33.

Club 33 members are privileged with access to the park 365 days a year. Club 33 offers individual and corporate memberships. As of February 2008 the current membership levels are Corporate Membership, Limited Corporate Membership and Gold Membership. The Silver Membership is not currently being offered. As of June 2007, the membership waiting list was 14 years, and membership closed as of April/May 2007.

Those interested in membership must send a written letter of inquiry to Disney and will receive a confirmation letter and information packet. As memberships open, potential members are informed via a letter of intent from Disney.

Initial fees and annual dues vary by membership. The Corporate and Limited Corporate Memberships allow for transfer of members.

The Corporate Membership fee is $27,500 plus $6,100 in annual fees. Up to nine associate members can be designated at an annual fee of $4,650 each. Members no longer in the employment of the corporate member’s company must surrender the membership cards to Club 33. The corporate member may then designate another member of the company.

The Limited Corporate Membership fee is $13,750 with only one member at an annual fee of $4,650. This entitles the corporation to transfer the membership to another employee whenever necessary.

The Gold Membership is for an individual with a member fee of $10,450 and an annual fee of $3,275. Additional use of a membership card is by spouse only, with reservations accepted only from the cardholder, the spouse or the cardholder’s assistant. The Gold Membership is not transferable.

Sponsored by Submarina & the Chargers

Today lunch is sponsored by submarina and the chargers. Luckily me and kimtan snagged a whole bunch of these giveaway scratchers. Dont worry, these were my duplicates and the other set will be in my chargers collection box.

Found Treasure

The annual thanksgiving party is at my house this weekend for the friends and you know what that means. Its time to clean. This time im gonna switch it up and re-organize all my shit, meaning, no shoes or clothes will be on the ground and no more colorful walls, etc.

In the process i found some old school mint t-shirts from the past.

Street Fighter II Tournament

The workshop had our first real street fighter tournament at the mira mesa shop. I came late because i chose to play football instead of entering in the tournament. I ended up only playing football for like 5 min as I pulled my hamstring on the sickest td of the game.

I went to the street fighter tournament after and I decided to dress up for the special occasion. I suppose my halloween costume came in handy. There was actually a whole bunch of people outside watching the rigged projection of the arcade on the window. It was a very good turnout and there was some stiff competition.

so be on the lookout for the next tournament.

Chargers at Oggis!

I am currently at oggis watching the chargers vs pittsburg game! i found out they have free internet so we can check out fantasy sores while eating and watching. Its a packed house and hoping for a win. go chargers!

USA: Ken

Ken is coming out to play today.

Knotts Berry Farm

Went to Knotts Berry Farm on monday with aprils fam and it was fun. Its been prolly 5-6 years since i was at knotts. The rides were fun but there were loooong lines because i guess its veterans holiday and everyone had monday off. remind me not to go on rides that go in circles over and over.
