I picked up my scrapbook from Mrs LT class this morning. This has been used by mrs LT as an example to her class for the past 6 years. So that makes my scrapbook 7 years old and its due for a makeover. this is going to be my summer project to get ready for the 08′ -09′ school year.

Thursday Night at the Sportsplex!
Thursday nights are reserved for my co-ed softball games. It not even close to the competitiveness of my wednesday night league but this will do as the wed nights wont start for another 2 months! The sportsplex is cool but the field sucks. i almost hit one out of the park last night! it one-hopped the fence by one foot! after we kicked it with some pitchers and watch some of the mens league games. these guys are so serious.

Today at work we had a little visitor. Our buddy Jon was dig sitting for the weekend and brought a little ewok dog to the shop. seriously looks like an ewok from star wars! One of the cutest dogs ever.
108th US Open Torrey Pines
The 108th US Open has officially started and all of a sudden my eyes are stuck on the coverage on espn. The top 3 in the world are grouped together for the first couple of rounds. I am hands down a Tiger fan and haver been since 8th grade. his shots are just incredible. however he just had knee surgery and hasnt played since april and got off to a bad start today. His game is picking up though.
Its pretty cool that the torrey pines golf course is pretty much in our backyard in an easy 10 min drive. I actually played the torrey north course once and it was an awesome course.
The USOPEN.com has live video coverage of torrey pines. Its pretty cool.

Ralph vs Bobcat
Regarding Ralph my cat, according to my dad…
“The sensor light turned on in the back patio and there was a bobcat, short tail and a big cat face. And there was ralph. Ralph went up to the bobcat and the bobcat hisssed at him and ralph hissed right back in boxing position ready to pounce. The bobcat then ran away.”
all i can say is WOW. Either ralph was thinking:
- “Youre in my territory buddy! or
- “this is going to be an awesome dinner”
Career Day!!!
So these two kids from mesa verde middle school called about shadowing me at the workshop and also wanted to check in on my freelance graphic design skills. They want to be graphic designers!!! Me and Jr were bombarded with design and skateboard questions! these kids came prepared with their questions! I showed them my work and gave them some tips for when they grow up. I showed them the process it took for me to come up with willys shoe, and they were super stoked when i said they can color their own shoe! I just hope that i was a good influence to these kids as they enter high school next year at westview high.

Sunday we cut Aprils cake! I actually had it for her birthday but since we just went to the commissary there was so much ground beef and steak in the freezer that there was no room to store the cake. ps. baskin robbins fudge crunch cake is the best

Google Maps Street View
on the way to work i was driving behind the google maps street view cameras!! how do i know this? because in some cases when ur on google street view, if you look down you can see the car and the rack that looks just like this one! i can wait to be on google street view!
Aprils 23rd Bday!
it was aprils 23rd and i decided to take her on a day full of fun and excitement! first i took her to shogun for lunch and got a private table for just me and april with a really nice discount. i then took her to fedex to pick up the one surprise left that she never knew i was doing for her. afterwards, we went home to change and took a little road trip to Anaheim for our reservations at medieval times. its was a fun and awesome experience! We should all go to the Pirates one soon! Happy Birthday to April!!!

so after every game the knights played, if they won they would throw roses into our 100 people seated red section. but as the last game, they gave away a pendent to one person and he happened to hand it to april!! what a great bday present!

Went to body rock with some of the homies. got there a little late and still was able to get good seats right next to the judges. knowing the wildboyz, we got vip backstage passes via tk. its pretty cool seeing the programs with the flyers i designed on it.
