A Roomie Outing

saturday we had kinda this roomie afternoon outing with raelynn, april and the bf’s. after me and april had work we went to get some grub at shogun in kearny mesa, the non-mainstream benihanna’s. we got a table to ourselves and were lucky to get “Chit The Chef” as it says on his name tag. ive been to shogun many times seeing the same ol routine but chito switched it up and gave us a little extra flava to his performance. after some good food, went to get eye brows waxed. yes i did it since my gf didnt want to pluck the brows. i noticed my brows started to get really thick, so april paid for them to wax my brows as she got her mani pedi (oh yeah, raelando got his brows waxed also). it wasnt as bad as getting sports tape off your ankles/leg hairs. the day wasnt over, had to get some yogurt world in little asia (convoy st). what a long hot day.

A Hot Temecula.

went up to temecula on a blazing friday afternoon to visit aprils godson and bff. as a matter of fact, after talking to april for a couple of weeks, we found out that her bbf, rose, actually worked for my mom when we first opened. we thought that was pretty crazy. anyways, kicked it with the little kiddo. aiden was the most hassel free baby ive ever dealt with. he just looks at you in awe all the time.

had some bomb mexican food at el ranchito, home of the best flautas. even the meat in the cali burrito is premium sirloin steak meat!!! soooo bomb. went to altitude and had a few drinks. too bad it was freaken cold, unlike yesterdays weather. good times.

i used to buy ambiguous from the mall back in the day. but years later they have re-invented itself since they got bought out by Ray’s Apparel Inc. They have set a tone for nice clean cut clothing. based on japanese cut-n-sew, and cheaper price points, ambiguous always seems to please me and make it harder to put in orders.

Mothers Day Fam Party

BJ’s La Jolla for Lunch

drove april and i to ocean beach for some hodad’s burgers (where we at on my birthday) but only to find out that the 5 south doesnt connect with the 8 west freeway. so we detours our ass through the sports arena and into mission beach. we had to make a u-turn to finally hit sunset cliffs blvd after our 20 minute detour! but when we got there the line was out the door 50 people deep. so all saliva glands just erupted. change of plans. detoured to the 5 north through sea world only to hit crazy traffic on a sat. but believe it or not, actually ended up at BJ’s in la jolla. enjoyed some delicious food. the pictures will get your cravings going…

me and april had our weekly dinner at sushiya. yes they changed their name to sushihana but i still have sushiya in my head. we always aim for the bar so we can kick it with our favorite sushi chef’s joe and arturo. afterwards we went to jrs pad to kick it and watch jr try to get mr magoo (his dog) to tuck himself to bed.

Iron Man is Dope!

on our day off, me and april went for a little trip. we had lunch at yoshinoya for the $3.29 beef bowls, checked out rice cookers at mitsuwa, mags at the bookstore in mitsuwa, went to the movies to watch iron man (which i was highly impressed how i loved the movie/concept), checked out phones at t-mobile, read magazines and books at barnes, dinner at el pollo loco, and i had a softball game. geeze what a day! i love it when we have days off together!
