So i guess cameras werent allowed cuz kanye said so. cameras were being confiscated left and right. i was lucky and didnt get a warning till the end. i got a lot of video but missed out on a lot of good jams because i wanted to enjoy the concert without holding a camera the whole fucking time. but watch this whole video i put together and see what you missed out on and why im raving about this concert so much.

went to kanye’s glow in the dark sunday night. it was fucking dope. good lineup = good music. met up with the gang at tk’s and went to harneys sushi in old town for a little pre party. hung out there a little tooo long and missed lupe’s set. =( wish we saw it. n*e*r*d’s set was alright. played a lot of new songs and i wish they played more older jams. new beats were tight, lyrics were not so tight! “GIRLS STANDING IN LINE IN THE BATHROOM!”? WTF! i will always love them though. lets not even talk rihanna. was over it, maybe if she didnt wear weird shit and the stage setup was cooler and the dancers coulda looked like they even have talent.
as for kanyes set, i felt like i just came out of a fucking movie. imagine rapping for an hour straight! thats shit gets tiring! but kanyes setup was fucking tight. space/spaceship theme, landing on an unknown planet with a storyline. and big as LCD backdrop the size of 4 movie theater screens. that shit was crazy! hands down worth the money!

went to cin cin in poways to make an appearance and nibble on some good food. rolando (deeohz) was spinning the sick beats. bounce to prospect in la jolla since i was on the flyer and bottle service was waiting (thanks bff). a whole bunch of people came out and didnt even notice it was dead because our table was crackin! ended the night on some good ol’ alvaros supreme fries so help the next day hangover.

Round 4: Ralph vs Wild.
So i come home this morning and my sister is telling me that my cat (ralph) caught a rattlesnake. yeah he catches birds, rabbits, lizards, gardener snakes, more birds, mice, but he has never caught a rattlesnake. he mustve been pissed off with the snakes rattler because it was chewed off and his head was kickin it in ralphs mouth. ralph was chewing on his head in front of the sliding door in the back yard like nothing. i think ralph is sick of canned food.

Skipped the gym workout for the hilltop park workout this morning. i ran some sprints and worked out at the stations all around the park. It was nice this morning but slightly chilly. i ended early to take some photos since i had my camera on me.

Apple Macbizzoook Pro
So after years of waiting and sitting through the pain of my original 17 inch powerbook (apples 1st 17″ made), i am finally getting a new souped up machine! With the help of some kindly generous friends and connections, i got the apple developers 20% off discount! i got a new 15 inch macbook pro, in which i upgraded to the max 4gigs of memory (+$400), gave up space for speed with a 200GB hard drive at 7200rpm (+100), and pre-installed final cut express 4, just at the price of $2,158. i went to the original apple store without the discount at it tallied up to $2,700. WHAT A DEAL! oh yeah, i bought a new (red) ipod shuffle with some motivational workout engraving! WORK HARD. PLAY HARD. Cant wait for my second present from my parents.

Best 25th Birthday Adventure Ever!
I just had the best birthday ever. other than those good ol’ childhood pizza parties where i would invite my baseball team and such that i miss, this is hands down the best birthday ever, especially thanks to my girlfriend April!!!! Thanks to my friends who sent me messages and phone calls to greet me! its the best feeling ever and reminds me how grateful i am for my friends. so me and april went on an adventurous day! we went to eat lunch in ocean beach, walked the pier, enjoyed the weather, went to boomers to play miniature golf, played video games, picked up ice cream cake, rested, and had some drinks with friends at tgi’s. what a long ass day seriously. im still tired!
