Hip Hop Saturdays at the Workshop
We switched it up today at work. we invited mr rolando aka deeohz to come and bring his turntables and spin us some dope beats. its was kinda like a hip hop workshop because he was teaching jr and alvin how to scratch. not only that, it was b-boy session with J-Razcal. six step what! we also got a visit by two of the cutest puppies ever. i seriously need a dog again. but i do really miss Prince. i think about him all the time. RIP.

ONYX for Birthday Week
i swear there are sooo many birthdays in the past couple weeks its crazy. we had a pre party at raelynn new pad. me and george played catch phrase for shots of vodka and we later played beer pong. me and alvin took out george and chris 4 games to 0. on the last game me and alvin knocked out 4 cups on our first round. its was a good night. maybe.
as you can see, the losers are still finishing their beers.

It was another march birthday! We all went out to Starlite restaurant/bar somewhere between downtown and old town for ceciles birthday. i love new places. however their beer selection wasnt the greatest. good times with friends for sure.

UNIV x Eneri Abillar x Pepsi
So i was reading up on my daily blogs and ran into the UNIV x Eneri Abillar x Pepsi concept bike. I was the first one to take photos and blog about the bike sometime last summer. Eneri thanked me personally for posting the pics on my blog way back when. months and months later, after all the production and touring, the bike is finally on sale at robust flavor for $7,000.00. yes, $7,000.00. if i only had that much money in my back pocket. read the fine print…
DESCRIPTION
UNIV partnered up with top industrial designer Eneri Abillar and Pepsi on the Abelasol bicycle project. Abelasol was developed for the Pepsi Street Motion in conjunction with the 16-city DUB car show tour.
Abelasol is inspired by custom vintage Japanese cars, which in turn, are the roots of the import car scene. With an aggressive gesture and forward design, Abelasol presents a new concept low-rider fabrication and design. Features include: a unique pull lever hand-brake design, black chrome elements, a Porsche leather seat, Skyway wheels and other special custom details.
ABOUT ENERI
Eneri Abillar is West Virginia native and the son of a coal miner. He now resides in Encinitas CA and is the lead Industrial Designer with Vapor Studio. He holds a Masters in Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY and his previous credits range from collaborations with Crooks & Castles to high-end outdoor home furnishings.

A Bad Screen Printing Day
Spent the whole day trying to make a print for KJ’s hip hop dance class. unfortunately the burning process wasnt being helpful and ending up looking like crap. this is when screen printing goes bad and what my whoooooooole day consisted of…
1. finalize artwork…
2. put separations onto tranparencies
3. burn separations into the pre-prepared emlusion screens
4. and after the whole screening touching up process and laying out the ink, which is the messiest part, i quickly put a test print just to see how crappy it would look. 1. the bottom of the “diem” got cut off and 2. the end of the bridge is shitty. the “CARPE DIEM” just didnt even burn correctly onto the screen.
5. why not print two more test prints that will never go into productions for the homies? (ithe print may look good here but when you look closely, its pretty crappy)
BTW, id like to thank my wonderful girlfriend for handling my venting very well. what a frustrating day.

Celadon Hillcrest/Edwins Bday
Went on a triple date to Harneys. too bad the wait was 2 hours. then the triple date turned to a double date and we ended up at the celadon thai restaurant across from the commissary in hillcrest. this is supposedly where the ivy hotel brings their celebrities to grub. in conclusion, a dope place to wine and dine with an average noodle or rice dish at $15 a plate. thanks to raelynn and rolando for taking me and the lady here.
afterwards we went to edwins pad for his birthday kickback.

So in the times square & 42nd subway station, there is this spot where random people perform music. from creepy dancing dolls, to alaskan eskimos with flutes. but one day there was this cracked out drummer with buckets, a bbq grill top, and other shit that was making some dope beats. definately the best performer.
