Class Project 2. Beer Commercial.

i was a zombie this morning.

i slept 1 hour. at least i finished the team page for the workshop website. i was scared driving to school today because i could tell i wasnt alert, AT ALL.

our last project we had to do a michelob light commercial with our groups and it had to be at least 30secs to 60secs and had to have the beer in it and the san diego asain film festival logo. as much as i hate group projects, i managed to get through this one. we had a shoot at my house last sunday.

i got to school today at 815-ish. i realized i needed more footage from willys camera for my next project so i literally sat down for 3 min and drove all the way back home. my school is right next to state and takes 20-30 min (20miles), each way from home to school. i wasnt mad, i was enjoying my ride home until i ran into seriously slow ass drivers in the FAST lane. multiple fast lane foulers.

im on the grind today, no not “its a grind”. i will be at home throwing punches at the computer to get this website knocked out.

Class Project 1. Interview.

Last week was a busy week. graduations, go skateboarding day, 2 basketball games. it wasnt a week full of free time.

before i back track, i always forget to mention that my neighbors, the ice cream man’s son, is a pit bull breeder. the street smells like shit cuz of them washing dog crap down the drain, nights are full of dogs barking (and viets yellings at the dogs telling them to shutup), he used to walk the pits with literally a chain. animal control has been there numerous times. the reason why i bring this up is cuz he dropped a letter in all the neighbors mail boxes saying he got rid of his dogs and he’s real sorry, etc. that was bullshit. you can still hear those damn dogs. my neighborhood had a secret meeting next door about the situation. its crazy that this is an ongoing civil suit. oh by the way, the ice cream man has been the same ice cream man since 87′. they still manage to all of a sudden rock new cars.

Back track to last wednesday, it was the little sisters graduation. and the neglerio family are finally alums of Mt. Carmel Fucking High School (MCFHS).

this is my senior writing sem teacher, Mrs. LT. everyone who went to mt. carmel know who she is even if they didnt have her class. she is like my second mom. she helped me pick my first college classes, etc. i used to hang with their family and even babysitted her dog when they went on vacation. i love her. she still has possesion of my scrapbook and every year, all her student look at my scrapbook. i miss that thing.

THURSDAY was goskateboarding day. ever june 21st is goskateboarding day. we spent the day turning the mira mesa epicenter into a little skatepark.

Wonderfully Horrible Wednesday

this was my 1st original post from earlier this morning on my cell phone, but i couldnt publish on blogger:

I’m one fucking stressed out idiot.

so I have a video project due this morning at school.its my interview
with willy santos.I had a rough final and I wanted to edit it at home.
so I get up at 4am to start editing but I my program wasn’t the same
version as my schools so I couldn’t even open the damn file.

so my smart ass plans to make text effects in other programs and stuff
and head to school early. I quickly pump out some little text effects
and stress to get out of the house at 530am. I get to school at 6am to
an empty school and my class is all locked up. so I sit in my car and
wait and wait. it starts to get closer to 7am and still no cars. I am
starting to think that there is a holiday today and no school. so my
ass is worrying about my project.

I finally remember what time school start. I totally forgot my class
started at 8am and I thought it was at 7am. I’m a freaken idiot. so
the reason why I’m blogging about this right now on my cell phone so I
can kill some time in my car.

so if u read this, now you know how much of an idiot I feel right now.
and I just wasted 2 minutes of your life. its ok, I just wasted 2
hours of my life in my truck and internet on my cell phone.

I will have a real blog to later.

so i get into class at 720 to finish my project. my classmates start to trickle in and the teacher says the project is due at break which is 10-1030. it was a sense of relief and i am pissed off i had suck a long stressful morning for nothing.

dont do what i did and do your homework. on time.

im glad the week has started. i had a bad stressful week last week and i really needed to get to a fresh start. kinda like a new years resolution, but in this case its ollie’s monday june 18th resolution. so im ready to get a good jump to the new me.

as for the weekend. its the start of birthday week(s). sat was an expensive fun night at crudo in little italy for rhonda and hanks birthdays. i spent all weekend on a blank mind for designing my sisters n friends senior breakfast shirt. it took 5 blank hours thinking of where to start and only 1 hour from the point i had an idea to the final design. i printed all 30+ shirts and they look awesome. they will look steezy at their senior breakfast. pics to come soon of the tees…

lately ive been having these crazy cravings for rice, spam n eggs. spam is prolly the worst thing i can eat but its so tasty. im so hungry right now. im running on my daily morning intake of soda and my stomache isnt having it.

LIFE.

ralph caught another snake.

yes, he caught another gardener snake. too bad i wasnt there to snap fotos. but my dad and sis said it was all coiled up on the mat next to the sliding door with its head peeking inside the house. the snake was bleeding by its head. ralph just wandered the backyard the whole time after dropping the snake off next to the sliding door. thanks ralph.

yesterday was jennys moms funeral. it was an eye opening ceremony. they had monks present with all the incense burning. its crazy how we culturally all have different rituals. i never thought i would be at that cemetery twice in a matter of seven months. it was a beautiful and peaceful day. it was good seeing all the friends together. ive said it before but death is only a part of the cycle of life. there is death but on the other side of the spectrum, there is birth. it sucks that we have to go through death but thats LIFE. we must move on the way the deceased would have wanted us to and live the life they would have wanted us to lead. sure we MUST NOT forget, but we must not dwell.

afterwards we had lunch at east buffet in miramar. i dont like hardcore asian buffets or restaurants. what do i mean by hardcore? when you see a tray with chicken feet in sauce, fish heads, etc.

we finally got our first basketball win! i told this to ojay already but i told him i respect him so much more. i respect his b-ball skills already, but to have the ballz to take a 3pt shot with 10 seconds running, down by 2, and still have the perfect release, and make it without touching the rim, is INCREDIBLE! i know my part on the team and thats to fill in as a backup while the starters re-energize on the bench. so if i play 1 min or 10 min im happy! as for afterwards, all i can say is MONEY TALKS.

at the after party at cheers, i didnt even know i was drunk until i woke up this morning. i didnt eat since lunch and i woke up with my stomach knocking.

Apple of my Eye.

its funny when you know more than the dude behind the counter. the new VIP paging (the cell phone store next to my moms office) is now open. they carry t-mobile (who has the most predicted service transfers when the iPhone comes out for AT&T), and verizon. well i went in there yesterday and asked what are the newest phones coming out and stuff like that.

he didnt know. he didnt know about the so called “Prada” (iPhone killer) phone. iPhone killer, yeh right. nothing will take down the iPhone. i think im going to make the switch.

i even asked if they were going to carry the iPhone, but i corrected myself and said “thats right, you dont have AT&T , you have t-mobile”, then the dude said, “yeh, Cingular is better anyways.” thats when i laughed inside and walked out because 1st of all, AT&T bought out Cingular Wireless and NO MATTER what service provider the iPhone will be on, they will be better. i love knowing more than the guy that works there.

other instances where i knew more than the employee:

• when i go to the apple store ALL THE TIME (i tend to know more than those employees)

steve jobs had his keynote speech. a lot cool new apple features coming out in october.

i have absolutely nothing else to blog about other than we lost last night. our next game is on wednesday.

A Case of the Mondays.

good morning.

its summer time for most of you, but as for me, i just started school. I dont know if its just really early or if i have nothing to say? but im completely ba-lank!

i dont drink soda but my body cant tolerate these early mornings yet so i rely on Dr. Pepper to get through the mornings. its 8:18 and the teacher is not here yet. but its all good cuz i sit in front of a mac the whole time and i can surf the net whenever i want.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

i woke up this morning in a saturday cartoon mood.

i havent felt this since i was a kid. i was surfing the tv and saw a transformers commercial. so thanks for tvlink.co.uk, i can watch my favorite sat morn cartoons, X-MEN. that was the prime of saturday morn cartoons.

so last night we partied it up at Club Heat for Ms. Deguzman’s b-day. all i can say is “O wat a night”. i was just glad i wasnt on the puking/zombie/fighting end of it. althea put her head between my legs and started puking, lukily with my fast reflexes i was able to do the splits. this is the second time i loaned my shirt to a drunk, in need puking friend. but this time i loaned my one-of-a-kind Hundreds X Crooks n Castle shirt.

a sober after party at alvaroes is what i needed. its been months since i actually enjoyed my meal. jr and cile switched drunk roles and josie made friends with bushes.

as we were going out of the horton parking structure, josies couldnt sit so she got out and walked down to the paying stall.

Q. How do you know Josie was drunk?
A. her shirt was lower than normal

Willys new samples came in. with his mid shoes, they thinned out the shoe. thinner and shorter tongue, and a narrower fit. this was the crazy colorway they picked from my choices. the red material is synthetic snake skin. pretty cool to see your creation come to life.

i did it.

i woke up on time this morning for school. school was a bore today. i sit in front if two monitors, a G4 Powermac machine, and the heater from the back of the mac behind me. its a pretty chill class. we watched Spellbound the documentary about 8 kids who go on to the national spelling bee. the last hour, we learned about video cameras. just the one like willys cam. boring.

christmas came early. i spent $186 on 2 pairs of Hundreds denim (my fav) and a pair of Nike P-Rod 2′s. and that was with my discount. lets just say each pair of jeans are $100 retail.

last night after an intense workout at the gym, my starvation was lifted by some Oggie Stix at Oggies restaurant in camrel mountain ranch. enjoyed some basketball and baseball. i cant believe the padres won in the 9th, losing 5-1 going into the 9th. it was a wonderful time eating dinner with the closest friends.

either george was super drunk, or he had a long day at work, or he just loves to curse and moan at family restaurants, but me and rhoda tallied every bad sound he said or made.

My 1st day of class was today.

and i woke up late so i didnt even go. this is my first time ever in life that i didnt go to my first day of class. i just feel horrible. i can never rely on any computer alarms. one alarm woke me up at 6am. my iTunes was blasting! of course 1 alarm isnt good enough. i had 5 alarms lined up. it never made it to my second alarm because an ERROR to the itunes alarm program. time to buy an alarm.

on memorial day a few of us spent the hangover and kept it hanging over champagne and snacks at hilltop. days like this makes it seem like everything is all good.

im going to buy a real alarm clock today.

The Lot.

will all the heavy hitter tv shows on hiatus i turn to The Lot on Fox. Its kind of an american idol musical artist serach but this show is about the search for a film director. i can spend hours and hours of the day watching the short films and comedies but i wouldnt be able to do anything the rest of the day. im kinda glad this show is on because im about to start my digital film classes that incorporate video editing, special effects and script writing. so i highly recommend going to their website and watching all the video clips. the outakes are awesome too. if you do check out their website TheLot.com , i recommend watching…

Weird Science!

ive got a few things on my mind. first, id like to send out my deepest condeolences to Jenny and her family. if you didnt know, jennys mom passed away early tuesday morning. i cant even imagine what youre going through right now. No one wants to go through this but its the circle of life. death and re-birth. i miss prince.

today my family has 3 new phone upgrades with verizon. notice i said my family. i used all their upgrades last year. so sorry. i was going to use one of the upgrades today but im not sure. verizon has the new blackberry 8830 (a bigger pearl) for $299 with an extended 2-year contract. but what im thinking is putting down for the new iphone that coming out the 29th of this month. $600? umm yeh. its either put down for a new blackberry for $300 and be locked down for 2-years or wait a couple of weeks to shun out a few more hundo buckos and get the iPhone. i think im gonna wait and hope there will be contract iphone deals. cant wait for june 29th.

so my battery of my 17″ powerbook, yes powerbook, pretty much blew up in smoke. literally. im an OG apple advocate. tuesday, apple came out with the new macbook pro system upgrade and the “back to school” promo, get a free ipod. if u didnt know, my backpack broke about a year ago and it fell and dented my powerbook. the backpack company reimbursed me with $1000 towards my new laptop. my mom took the money so i can wait when i really need it. well, i start my m-f 8-12pm video classes on thursday. i told my mom that i need a new comp and she said ok. hopefully soon i will be getting a brand new 17″ macbook pro and a $50 30gb video ipod (after rebate) for bicycling purposes at the gym.

thursday i start the monday-friday 8am-12pm video classes. i will be going to school everyday straight with the exception of july 4th week summer b reak, til september 27th. but i will at least finish my BA and finally get that degree my mom can brag everyone about.i have 3 video classes left, 5 weeks each, and im out and you can all go to my ghetto graduation ceremony.

everyone is all hyped on tv-links.co.uk. i think its alright. 80% of the shows they have on there are a waste of time. but ive reunited with one of my favorite tv shows in the 90′s! Weird Science! they only have 10 episodes of it but its better than nothing. i had the hottest crush on Lisa (the artificial computerized moral babe that is my dream girl hottie). but i just found out on imdb.com that Vanessa Angel was 30 years old when they aired. she looks 21!!! now shes 41 years old! WTF! back in the 90′s, she was the precursor to the present day jessica alba. she was the hottie in kingpin the movie.

i bought 2 magazines that can keep me interested forever. Computer Arts Projects & Archive.
